No.3 Off with her head!

Once upon a time, hundreds of years before the little girl lived in the little town, a Queen had stayed in a house in the town and one of the reasons the Queen had stayed so long was because she fell ill. Very ill. She very nearly died. She recovered and went on to live an extraordinary life. The little girl liked to think that it was the magical pears that helped cure the Queen.

Near the end of her life, the Queen lamented that it would have been better to have died back in that little town. The little girl thought it was understandable that the Queen had felt like that when she was faced with losing her head! But if she had died in that house, in the little town, would anyone have remembered her quite so well as they do now?
